Rose Byrne welcomes newborn(1)

The Sydney-born actress, who welcomed baby Rocco with partner Bobby Cannavale recently, stepped out at a screening of her latest film the Meddler.

“I feel just sleep-deprived, and still in the tunnel,” Byrne, 36, revealed of her foray into motherhood. “It's has been a challenge, the first three months. It's intense. My brain's really fried.”
Her husband Cannavale broke the news of the birth of his son on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert confirming Byrne had popped on February 1. Cannavale didn't give out many details except for that the baby was “beautiful” and was named Rocco.
“I had a baby on Monday, yes,” the Vinyl star said. “You know, I didn't do anything. We (men) don't do anything and I'm so tired. I think I've gained 28 pounds (12kg) since Monday.
“I mean, I'm not kidding you. Like, this jacket fit so well, like, last Thursday. But I've been eating so much.”
Rocco is Rose's first-born but Bobby has a 20-year-old son named Jake from ex-wife Jenny Lumet.
The doting duo have been dating since 2012, and have since worked together in the 2014's Annie and Adult Beginners as well as 2015's Spy.
The Meddler is a comedy-drama that tells the story of an ageing mother who moves to Los Angeles to be closer to her daughter. There she sparks a relationship with a police officer. Susan Sarandon, J.K. Simmons and Jerrod Carmichael also feature on the film.
