Wanderlust 108

wanderlust

Wanderlust 108, the world's only mindful triathlon, is a field day for your mind, body and soul. Instead of a trophy, the prizes are a vibrant community, self-awareness and inner peace. Instead of a competition, it's all about the community.

The run is 5 kilometres long. You don't have to sweat it, just do it at your own pace. Either run, walk, prance or skip, stroll or strut, you can choose how you get there, as long as you make it to the finish line.
There couldn't be a wanderlust event without Yoga. If you like stretching, this is the place for you with 75 minutes of yoga flow underscored by a DJ. Whether it's your first or 500th time on your math, you can find your own beat. From Aerial to AcroYoga, you can reach new heights.
The festival also features a 30-minute guided meditation to clear your mind, relax your body and complete the mindful triathlon.
Also, during the event, you can relax in the Kula Market, which is jam packed with funky local crafts and delicious organic foods. You can also sign up for one bonus activity, such as AiReal yoga, acroyoga, hooping, slacklining, or tribal marking. Always make sure you sign up in advance since the bonus activities tend to fill up really quickly.
Tasty treats and local threads at the Kula Market which features locally made crafts, jewelry, yoga gear, snacks and a “boochgarten” - the kombucha biergarten. The Melbourne leg of this widespread, international event is held at the Catani Gardens, which is boarded by Jacka Boulevard, Beaconsfield Parade & Pier Road, St Kilda.
Starting at 8.30am the Wanderlust 108 festival runs all day until 4pm, and you can register as an individual for $40, or gather together a few of your friends, come up with a team name and register as a group.
You must try this triathlon as it is unlike any other. No competition and stress-free. It is not only good for your mind but it is also good for your body. You get to do a pre-run stretch. It is great to feel part of a community as it is a peaceful and friendly race.
The event is not only good for your mind and body but it is also environmentally responsible as it encourages people to recycle. You can find zero waste compost and recycling stations throughout Wanderlust 108.
